COVID-19 vaccines are a safe and effective way to reduce your chances of catching COVID-19 and potentially spreading it to others. If you are exposed to someone with COVID-19, you will not have to quarantine if you are fully vaccinated and don鈥檛 show any symptoms.

What To Do
Off Campus

Symptoms include:

Don鈥檛 keep results a secret, report it to university officials to perform contact tracing. There is nothing to be ashamed of having gotten COVID-19; do use the experience to help friends and family prevent the same thing happening to them.

If you know someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 offer words of support and encouragement and help provide support like safely taking them groceries or prepared food.聽

What To Do
On Campus

Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially when you have been in high touch areas. Avoid touching your face with unwashed hands. If soap and water are not available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.

Please isolate yourself from others and reach out to the Longest Student Health Center to schedule testing or report a positive test for further instructions. Rest, stay hydrated, and monitor your symptoms.
