Dean of College of Forest Resources Candidate Three announced

Dr. Joel听 Snodgrass currently serves as Department Head and Professor in Virginia Tech鈥檚 Department of Fish and Wildlife Conservation. He previously was Chairperson of the Department of Biological Sciences at Towson University in Maryland, where he ascended the faculty ranks to Full Professor. He worked as Postdoctoral Research Associate at Rutgers University in the Division of Life Sciences and Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute. Earlier, he also worked in Brevard County, Florida, for Office of Natural Resources Management.
Dr. Snodgrass completed his doctoral work in ecology at the University of Georgia. He has a master鈥檚 degree in zoology from the University of Central Florida and a bachelor鈥檚 degree in biology from Guilford College.
